MD® Intimate Restore — Clinical Evidence
MD® Intimate Restore
Clinical Evidence Dossier — Gynecologist-Developed, Hormone-Free Intimate Rejuvenation Serum
Overview
MD® Intimate Restore is a hormone-free, peptide-powered intimate rejuvenation serum developed by board-certified gynecologist Dr. Susan Lin, M.D., founder of La Canada Ventures, Inc. The formula combines stem cell–conditioned factors with collagen-boosting peptides to address vulvovaginal skin changes associated with aging, perimenopause, menopause, and postpartum recovery — without estrogen or other hormones.
This page summarizes the independent dermatological safety study (Medcin Instituto da Pele, Brazil, 2017) and the consumer-acceptance group study (GVI, Mexico) commissioned by the sponsor, La Canada Ventures, Inc.
Study #1: Dermatological Safety — Medcin Instituto da Pele (Brazil, 2017)
Study Population
55 participants screened and included, age 18–70 years (avg. 53.5 years), Fitzpatrick skin types I–IV. 54 completed the full protocol (one withdrawal for non-study reasons). Population was predominantly female (52 of 55).
Methodology
Three-phase patch-test compatibility study conducted in maximized conditions per ICDRG (International Contact Dermatitis Research Group) protocol:
- Phase 1 — Primary Dermal Irritation: Semi-occlusive patches applied to the back of each participant; 48-hour evaluation, with re-evaluation at 96 hours.
- Phase 2 — Cumulative Dermal Irritation: Eight repeated applications over three weeks with patch evaluation at each visit.
- Phase 3 — Dermal Sensitization: Re-challenge phase following completion of cumulative irritation to detect delayed allergic response.
Dermatological assessment performed at baseline and at the end of each phase by the Principal Investigator.
